The Famous Mister isn't an agency. It's one guy who's spent years helping small business owners get noticed — and decided building websites was the natural next step.
I studied public relations and spent time working in marketing at a few different agencies — but somewhere along the way, I found myself in customer service instead. That turned out to be exactly where I needed to be.
Customer service puts you in constant contact with people who run businesses, and I've never been able to help myself: I've given advice and ideas to all kinds of owners and managers — insurance agencies, medical offices and HR departments, bar-and-grills and restaurants, single-location clothing stores, gas stations, hotels and motels, and plenty more. I'd just look at what someone was trying to do — find customers, get them in the door, build a good name — and offer up whatever ideas came to mind.
What I noticed again and again is how many genuinely great businesses had almost no presence online — maybe a thin Facebook page, maybe nothing at all. And these are people working harder than almost anyone I know. They deserve to look as professional online as they are in person. That's what The Famous Mister is: a way to take everything I've learned about helping small businesses stand out, and turn it into something concrete — a simple, sharp website that gets you found and makes a great first impression.
The big agencies are used to charging large amounts because that's just how they've always done it — not because anyone's trying to take advantage. I think there's a better way: businesses sharing what they know to help each other grow. That's the model I want to be part of.
The price you see is the price you pay. No upsells on things you don't need, and no surprise fees at the end.
When I build your website, it belongs to you — not me. No holding it hostage, no charging you to "export" it. It's yours, end of story.
You're already doing great work. A site that helps people find you and take you seriously is one less thing standing between you and the customers who are looking for exactly what you offer.
Before I ever built a website, I spent years in marketing and customer service — talking with small business owners across nearly every industry you can think of. Restaurants, salons, repair shops, agencies, hotels, retail, you name it. I've sat across the table from people running all of them, and I always found myself offering up an idea or two on how they could grow.
The Famous Mister is that same instinct, just pointed at one specific thing: helping you look as good online as you already are in person.
I start with a relaxed chat — by phone, email, or video — to understand your business, your goals, and what you're hoping to achieve with a website.
I design your site and share a preview. If something isn't right, we talk through it and I fix it. Simple back-and-forth until you're happy.
I won't launch your site until you give me the green light. You've got final say on every page, every word, every detail.
Once you're live, I stick around to make sure everything is working. And I'm always reachable if something comes up later.
